This project started with an environment art mentorship via Limit Break. The aim of this project was to create more environment art and learn Unreal Engine better - to learn how to create VFX, atmospheric lighting and subtle animation in a game engine. I've sculpted cave wall modular pieces, made the material and VFX in one shader, set dressed, lighting and some post processing.

I'm visualising my interpretation of an environment from a book, the world in which the book takes place has a battery called the Tunnels, it's a place that when you arrive, you never leave. I've tried to visualise this as a dark space with dark energy that pulsates through the walls as if it is the place itself is alive.
